Black Hills Party Pedaler is looking for outgoing individuals to entertain, lead and drive party bike tours!

 

BH Party Pedalers are responsible for meeting and greeting customers, and following through with the itinerary in a professional, entertaining and engaging manner. The roll requires driving the party bike as well as entertaining and ensuring the safety of our guests through calm control. Flexibility and customer service are key to this position. This is a fun job for those who enjoy meeting new and interesting people and just... getting paid to entertain and hang out for a few hours a few days a week all summer long!

Standard tours are facilitated with teams of two pedalers each tour but- get to where you run solo and your check grows!!! ;)
 

We operate 5 days a week, primarily evenings and weekends, so availability on nights and weekends is a must. Hours of operation are:

 

Tuesday-Friday 6:00pm to 10:30pm

 

Saturday 11:30am to 10:30 pm

 

We reserve Sunday and Mondays for Pedaler family and catch up days!

 

Successful completion of our training program, designed to provide the skills necessary to deliver both a safe and fun experience, is required. Position is part-time, as needed.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare bike prior to tour.

• Sell BHPP offered beverages before and during tour-cash and card handling experience necessary.

• Entertain and manage groups while ensuring safety via BHPP rules and regulations.

• Execute tour operations within tour grid while adhering to legal parking during shot stops.

• Answer general questions about the Downtown Rapid City.

• Take pictures of groups for BHPP social media use.

• Open and closing BHPP facility before/after tours.

• Ensure party bike is clean and maintenance needs reported after every tour.

• End of tour sale reporting for every tour.

Candidates are required to have:

• Availability on nights, weekends, and some summer holidays.

• Ability to make change and oversee point of sale transactions.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to work independently as well as a two-person team, efficiently, and unsupervised.

• The desire to work with the general public and groups.

• Demonstrated professional appearance and behavior at all times.

• Ability to be consistently timely and reliable.

• Reliable transportation.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Clean motor vehicle record – NO DUI'S or DL SUSPENSIONS PERMITTED.

• Must be 18+ years of age.

Preferred attributes:

• Tour guide, hospitality, restaurant, bartending, serving, or other customer service experience.

• Alcohol / fake ID training.

• Love of local culture, familiarity with downtown Rapid City and local businesses.

• Desire to have FUN while working- your personality is a reflection of who we are, let's enjoy that!!!
